It really would be impossible to talk about celebrating our twentieth year at The Old School House without taking this opportunity to say a big thank you to all those people – too numerous to mention by name – who have worked with us or, equally importantly, attended our courses over the years and to recognise their much valued contribution in the story of the Centre’s on-going success.
It's true to say that we look forward to 2013 with just as much excitement as we did when we put together our first painting course programme all those years ago!
John Hoar and Merrie Curtiss-Fuller have kindly agreed to join our tutor list and we very much look forward to the opportunity of working with them both. John is one of the most exciting watercolour painters in Britain today and Merrie is a brilliant young artist whose Life Drawing skills are quite extraordinary. We are also absolutely delighted to welcome watercolourist Ian King back after a couple of really quite difficult years which took him off the radar as far as work was concerned - he's now 'back on song' and we look forward to working with him once again in 2013.
We have some exciting new courses on offer at Castle Rising and our 2013 overseas programme includes a new opportunity to enjoy 7 days fully tutored Painting in Provence (via Eurostar) with professional artist Tony Paul.
Soraya French will be tutoring for us on the beautiful Greek Island of Skiathos, Steve Hall will be running our Painting Course in Venice and Robert Brindley will be tutoring for us on our trip to the Northern Shoreline of Lake Garda.
An unbeatable combination of outstanding tutors and great destinations! |
