Established in 1993 by Ros and Richard Cartwright the centre enjoys an excellent reputation for providing well structured art courses blended with the highest standard of tuition in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. It is a simple combination which has proved very popular and is, therefore, something we work hard to safeguard and value very highly indeed. The centres' growing customer base is under pinned by these core values; we know this because many of them write in and tell us! The proof is in our testimonials .
Our tutors, many of whom have worked with us since we began, offer a wide variety of courses including representational landscape, portraiture, abstract and flowers and all popular media are covered. Structured for beginners and the more experienced alike the courses take place in our well equipped studio, in Castle Rising and on the beautiful north Norfolk coast.
On your arrival and, of course throughout each day, refreshments (including fresh filter coffee) are freely available and on two and three day courses a buffet lunch with wine is provided in the studio .
In addition to our 'main' programme of 2,3 and 5 day courses we also offer weekly courses which may be of interest if you live in the immediate area. Our 9 week Watercolour courses run from January to March and October to December. |
