West Norfolk Arts Centre has established a solid reputation as a quality provider of structured recreational painting courses designed to meet the needs of complete beginners and experienced artists alike.
Since we began the Art Centre in 1993 we have run hundreds of painting courses and met thousands of people many of whom return time and again from all over the UK to enjoy our painting courses - either at our Castle Rising based studio or on one of our many organised painting holidays abroad.
Many return because they are confident they can rely on high standards of tuition from some the UK's best known art tutors and because they feel comfortable that they can switch off from work and enjoy the learning process in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
Similarly, the desire to get away, meet new people and explore a fresh creative interest is, very often, the trigger for first time visitors – we offer courses to suit all ability levels, including beginners.
In addition to painting courses in West Norfolk we also operate painting courses in Venice, Tuscany and Skiathos. Watercolour, acrylic, pastel, oil painting and mixed media all feature with subjects ranging from representational Landscape to Abstract and Portraiture to Botanical Flower painting.
