Robert Brindley is a well known professional artist in Watercolour, Oils & Pastels. He is a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists and his main inspiration is the challenge of capturing light and atmosphere in a modern impressionistic style. He paints, mainly landscape & coastal scenery, around his home in North Yorkshire and places he has visited where there is an opportunity to portray nature and her moods.
Robert is the author of two books 'Painting Boats & Coastal Scenery' and 'Painting in Pastels'
Robert is featured in two DVDs for Town House Films entitled 'Painting Atmospheric Watercolour Landscapes' and 'Oil Sketching on Location'.
 Robert will be running two courses for us at Castle Rising in 2012. After a very successful Watercolour course in Castle Rising in August he will be returning to tutor another in August 2012 (17th-19th) and has also kindly agreed to run a 3-day oil workshop on the 31st August-2nd September.
