Painting Courses

All our painting courses are thoughtfully planned to provide the highest standards of tuition in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Prior to your arrival we will send you information about the structure of the course you have chosen and a list of materials your tutor has suggested would be useful to bring with you. All our courses begin at 9.30am (the studio opens at 9.00am). The day normally finishes at 5.00pm - please check your chosen course detail for a precise timetable.

Weekly Painting courses at The Old School House

For non-painting partners there is much to do and see. If you would like us to send you information about a particular interest/ activity (local golf clubs etc) please let us know when booking and we will be pleased to forward information to you.

The Old School House is non-residential, however, during the evenings guests are welcome to continue working in the studio if they wish or join fellow course members for an inexpensive, informal meal and drink; it’s an enjoyable way to round off a day's painting. If you do not have your own transport you need not be left out, just let us know in advance!

If you require information about local accommodation including B&B's, guest houses, hotels and caravan sites close the arts centre - please ask. We will be delighted to help and a comprehensive list is included in our brochure.
