Painting Course in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with tutor Bill Newton on the 6th-10th August 2012
Tutor Bill Newton invites you to paint in the media of your choice in the grounds of Magdalen College, Oxford, and on full day excursions to Woodstock and Burford. Bill will organise a structured daily painting routine with demonstrations (in watercolour) and one to one guidance as appropriate.
Steeped in history, rich in heritage and awash with natural beauty, the Oxfordshire Cotswolds epitomises all that is good about rural England.
We will be staying at Magdalen College, Oxford for four nights on a half board basis.
The study bedrooms offer a good standard of basic ensuite accommodation with tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast & dinner will be taken in the students self service dining hall - lunches and drinks are not included.
The River Cherwell runs through Magdalen's grounds which include over 100 acres of parkland - a beautiful and tranquil area in the heart of the city. There are magnificent cloisters, a deer park and quads with formal lawns and borders.
